What can I expect at my appointment?

In addition, they may take impressions of your mouth, which are sent to a special laboratory to create the veneers. 

Once the veneers are ready, your provider will prepare the surface of your tooth to receive the veneer by scraping off a portion of your tooth to create space. They will then roughen the surface, apply the veneer, and bond it in place with special cement. Once it is firmly in place, they will remove any excess cement and shape the veneer to ensure a perfect fit.
